Latitude, a textile consultancy, pioneer in the process of building a change of mentality in fashion consumption, helps companies and organizations in the sector to implement sustainability in a holistic and responsible way.

Challenge

Lattitude, led by Ashoka social entrepreneur María Almazan, had the challenge of improving the production processes and profitability of the network of textile workshops, making the business model viable so that it would not only be environmentally and socially sustainable, but also economically sustainable.

Results

To ensure long-term economic sustainability, we redefined the organizational structure, and identified and optimized the necessary resources, paying special attention to product and process details to improve production. As a result, we developed a new innovative business model called Semillas, which facilitates the commercialization of the products made by these workshops beyond their traditional channels.

This project has become one of Latitude's flagships, marking a turning point in the strategy of focusing on sustainability as a central axis of its organizational structure.
