IPG Mediabrands, a leading global media and marketing management group in Spain, dedicated to maximizing brand impact through innovation, data, and advanced strategy.

Challenge

IPG Mediabrands had access to a top-tier ecosystem of data sources—including Brandwatch, TGI, GWI, YouGov, and SimilarWeb—but its analysis processes remained manual, slow, and difficult to scale beyond small teams. Analyzing digital communities could take up to two weeks, relying heavily on generic AI tools that were prone to hallucinations and lacked the ability to connect directly to the data sources.

The goal was clear: to transition from using AI for internal purposes to a professional-grade solution that could be scaled across the entire agency, with guaranteed methodological rigor and reproducible results.

Results

Igeneris designed and implemented LuminAI, IPG Mediabrands’ proprietary agentic research platform, built around Anthropic’s Claude Sonnet 4.5 as its core model. Using an architecture based on the Model Context Protocol (MCP), we enabled Claude to perform real-world tasks and query external APIs in real time, eliminating manual processes and ensuring a deterministic and reproducible workflow. The project resulted in five strategic products that redefine insights consulting:

Cosmos: A system specialized in detecting and mapping digital communities. It transforms spontaneous conversations in digital environments into strategic audience segments, identifying communities and micro-communities through semantic analysis and integrating quantitative data from TGI and GWI to scale them.

Vibes: A trend observatory designed to identify and predict emerging trends in the digital ecosystem, enabling clients to stay ahead of market changes

‍Pulse: A comprehensive analytics tool that provides a holistic view of categories by simultaneously analyzing business performance, the competition, and consumer behavior.

Journeys: A solution for mapping the entire consumer journey, identifying pain points, key moments, and decision-making patterns based on a combination of quantitative and qualitative data.

‍SyntheticLab: A synthetic research platform that uses personas built from real-world data to simulate behaviors, test hypotheses, and explore strategic scenarios without the need for traditional research. Claude Desktop and Claude Browser serve as conversational interfaces for analysts, who can interact with data sources and workflows directly from the platform without the need for a custom frontend.

- 70% reduction in turnaround time: analyses that used to take two weeks are now completed in three or four days.

- +15 pitches won by leveraging LuminAI as a strategic asset for new business, demonstrating real-time analytics capabilities to clients and prospects.

- Elimination of hallucinations and inaccuracies in analysis, thanks to a deterministic architecture based on MCP and skills that ensure Claude works exclusively with real data from connected sources.

- Scalability of intelligence across the entire agency, moving beyond the previous model that was limited to small teams.
